Allergies

All students with life threatening allergies requiring emergency medications are required to have a healthcare provider complete an  Allergy Action Plan on file at the School Health Office.  Having a plan to follow and emergency medications available is imperative for the safety of our students.
  • The Allergy Action Plan needs to be completed and signed by your child's health care provider at the start of each school year and provided to the school nurse on or before the first day of school.
  •  Emergency medications need to be supplied by the parent or guardian  at the start of each school year.
  • Any medication brought to school must be picked up by a parent or guardian prior to the end of the school year.  Medication not picked up will be discarded in the appropriate manner.
  • Please see the NSCSD Food Services Page for more information on Food Allergies at School.
