ABOUT
The North Syracuse Central School District is committed to creating and maintaining positive and open communication with all members of the school district and beyond – staff, students, families, administration, board members, unions and the community. District communications
are intended to be timely, candid and transparent. The mission of the communications office is to provide accurate and timely information and news to the entire school district community, as well as to inform the community of students' and staff members' achievements.
We try to continually promote the positive contributions our students make to the community whether through volunteer work, athletics, fine arts or educational achievements. Every day, our students are making a positive impact in this community and we strive to showcase these actions and achievements.
Laurie Cook, our communications officer is responsible for media relations as well as the content and management of the district's website, social media accounts and publications. Great schools and school district need exceptional communication between the district and all stakeholders. The North Syracuse Central School District wants to be the first and best source of information and is committed to improving communication efforts.
