Many teachers are delivering instruction on Google Meet and Zoom. In an effort to maintain the integrity of the learning environment and respect student privacy, parents should not be taking screenshots or recording instructional learning sessions.
Thank you for your continued cooperation in keeping our remote learning environments safe and private for our students and teachers.

Educational Programs

The North Syracuse Central School District has a comprehensive instructional program from prekindergarten through high school provided in our eleven buildings.

The North Syracuse Early Education Program offers an inclusive preschool program for three and four year-olds. In each of our six elementary schools, instruction is centered around state standards in the four core areas of English/language arts, science, math and social studies.

Advanced technological learning experiences are available to middle and junior high students. In addition to computer coding clubs at both middle schools and an award-winning technical crew, 4D Productions, at the junior high, the district has implemented a revised middle school schedule to give students additional opportunities to explore special classes in technology, family and consumer science, STEM, business and health.

Programs at the high school level include advanced credit courses from seven colleges and universities, 17 Advanced Placement (AP) courses and nine Syracuse University Project Advance (SUPA) courses. In addition, the high school offers a vast array of elective opportunities to appeal to all students. This includes a full production studio and a 10th-12th grade leadership development program. Many support services are available to students through Liberty Resources, Academic Intervention, school resource officers, social workers, counseling services and a full-time Career Center.
