On March 4, Onondaga County and the Onondaga County Commissioner of Health issued a Policy Proposal to Increase School Participation to Five Days per Week in K-12 Schools in Onondaga County. The Policy Proposal was expanded on March 16, 2021. The North Syracuse Central School District had been anticipating such news and proactively sent a survey to families to determine their level of comfort sending students to school if social distancing guidelines were ultimately reduced. The New York State Department of Health and Department of Education has created a COVID-19 School Report Card on which the NSCSD posts updates each school day. Click here to access the NYS School report card
