Substitute Teachers are an essential part of the school community. When Teachers are unable to be in the classroom it is important for instruction to continue in a respectful and enriching way. Substitute Teachers should be:
  • Dedicated to developing positive relationships with children
  • Willing to learn alongside students
  • Prepared to assist students with completing the day’s work
Requirements
Daily Substitutes:
  • Must have a four year college degree or higher
  • Must have experience with school age children (like coaching, daycare, community activities or other school related work)
  • Must clear NYS fingerprinting
Long Term Substitutes:
  • Must have Teaching Degree and NYS certification
  • Must clear NYS fingerprinting
Substitute Teaching Assistants are an important part of our Special Education service delivery program. Substitute Teaching Assistants work directly each day with our students to support instruction and student learning.

Requirements
  • This is a great entry level opportunity. We are seeking patient, positive people who want to make a difference in the lives of children.
  • Must clear NYS fingerprinting
