Principal's Message

December is here!  I can't believe how fast the year is going and I'm sure December will be no different.  I want to take a moment to share my gratitude for all who work to make Lakeshore Road Elementary a great place.  I'm thankful for our teachers who are so dedicated to creating engaging lessons and ensuring success for all students.  Our office staff for providing their personal touch in meeting the needs of our students and families.  Our custodial staff who work diligently to provide a positive, clean atmosphere for our students.  Our food service staff that is always serving our students with a smile.  Our Parent Teacher Organization that works to provide fun, family-oriented activities year-round.  Our nurses for nurturing students that don't feel well. Our bus drivers that transport our students safely to their destinations.  I am grateful for our Lakeshore students that demonstrate kindness every day and work to make our community a better place.  I am thankful for our Lakeshore families - working together we can ensure that we are always doing the best for your children.

Other news....Third and Fourth Grade students have been working hard to put on a fabulous concert on December 3rd.  We have some dutiful fourth-grade students that have been helping out with bus duty at the end of the day.  December 16 - 20 we will be celebrating spirit week at Lakeshore:

Monday, December 16 - Wear your silly socks.

Tuesday, December 17 - Get caught spreading kindness at Lakeshore

Wednesday, December 18 - Grinch Day

Thursday, December 19 - Wear an Ugly Sweater

Friday, December 20 - Pajama Day

We will be practicing lock-down drills in December.  Teachers will go over these procedures with your children.  Let's make it a great December!!!
