| The North Syracuse Central School District uses ParentSquare for school to home and district to home communications. Parent/guardian information is pulled from SchoolTool, the district's student data management system. When information is updated in SchoolTool, it will take 24 hours for the information to update in ParentSquare. All parents that have an email or cell phone in SchoolTool automatically have an account created in ParentSquare. Monthly email invitations are sent to unregistered parents/guardians and staff. Parents that register their account will have the ability to log into the system to see information specific to their child[ren]. Parents/guardians looking for additional information on using ParentSquare can click here for online help and resources. Parents/guardians should contact their child's school directly to update an email address, home phone number or cell phone number. Changes to home addresses must go through the NSCSD Registration Office by calling 315-218-2145. |

Community GroupsNotification Categories Are: Community News/General Announcements/Group Fundraising Flyers - From time-to-time, the North Syracuse Central School District sends messages at the request of NSCSD-affiliated booster clubs and PTOs asking for the information to be distributed to our families for the purpose of gaining support for their programs. Subscribe to this category if you would like to receive these types of messages or other non-urgent notifications. The NSCSD automatically notifies parents and staff of school closures and weather-related delays and dismissals. Community members can also subscribe to messages in this category by registering for this group. Northstar Lights Newsletter Subscribers - The North Syracuse Central School District produces a digital newsletter, "Northstar Lights," to share important information and good news with NSCSD families and staff. Parents and staff members automatically receive the newsletter through ParentSquare. Grandparents, community members and all friends of the NSCSD are welcome to subscribe by providing an email address. Newsletters are emailed monthly during the school year.
