North Syracuse Junior High School Musicians Perform at Seabreeze Music Days

North Syracuse Junior High School student musicians recently traveled to Rochester to participate in Seabreeze Amusement Park’s Music Days.

On Thursday, June 4, 73 NSJH students performed at the event as members of the school’s Select Band, Jazz Band, Advanced Orchestra and Vocal Jazz ensembles. All four groups delivered outstanding performances and represented North Syracuse Junior High School with pride.

The participating ensembles were directed by the following music educators:

• Select Band: Jennifer MacDerment
• Jazz Band: Drew Rebecchi
• Advanced Orchestra: Kate Hinman
• Vocal Jazz: John Halpin

The trip provided students with an opportunity to perform in a special setting while celebrating their hard work and musical growth throughout the school year.
