Cicero Elementary to host Spring Into Savings Financial Literacy Fun Fair April 16

North Syracuse Central School District elementary students and families are invited to the annual “Spring Into Savings” Financial Literacy Fun Fair on Thursday, April 16 at Cicero Elementary School, 5979 Route 31 in Cicero. The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and is free for families to attend. The event will include financial literacy games, educational games for K-4 students and complimentary pizza, refreshments and prizes. It is sponsored by Beginnings Credit Union.

The event is part of Cicero-North Syracuse High School’s student-run credit union and business and financial literacy programming. CNS Business Teacher Mark Vinette said about 30 CNS Money and Banking students are expected to participate in the event.

Vinette said Spring Into Savings began in 2016 and is one of several initiatives supported through Beginnings Credit Union and the Money and Banking class to promote financial literacy for North Syracuse students of all ages.
