Dr. Baroody’s leadership is grounded in a belief that strong systems and strong people are both essential to long-term success. He has consistently worked to build leadership capacity in others while strengthening the systems that support the district’s schools. Since coming to NSCSD, he has also earned his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership while continuing to manage the significant responsibilities of his role.
“The work Mike has done since arriving in North Syracuse has given me every confidence in his ability to step into the role of Deputy Superintendent,” Superintendent of Schools Terry Ward said. “He understands our district, values our people and is exceptionally well prepared to take on this important leadership position.”
