BOE appoints new Director of Data, Accountability and School Improvement
March 24, 2026| The North Syracuse Central School District Board of Education approved the appointment of Sean Fahey as the district’s new Director of Data, Accountability and School Improvement at its meeting on Monday, March 23, 2026. Fahey brings extensive experience in educational leadership, district systems and data-informed decision-making. He currently serves as Director of Accountability and Instructional Support at West Genesee Central School District, where he has led work related to central registration, student data privacy, accountability reporting, intervention systems, scheduling, assessments and district processes designed to support students and schools. |

| His previous experience includes service as an assistant principal, district data coordinator and adjunct professor in educational administration and career and technical education. “Sean brings a strong background in accountability systems, school improvement and instructional support,” said Dr. Terry L. Ward II, Superintendent of Schools. “His experience and collaborative leadership style will be a valuable asset to the North Syracuse Central School District, and we are excited to welcome him to our team.” Fahey is expected to begin his role with NSCSD on May 26. |
