Board of Education appoints new Director of Pupil Personnel Services

January 13, 2026
The North Syracuse Central School District is pleased to announce that the Board of Education approved Jennifer Stanton at its January 12 meeting as the district’s new Director of Pupil Personnel Services.

Ms. Stanton brings more than a decade of experience in pupil services and special education leadership. She most recently served as Director of Pupil Services at the Mexico Academy and Central School District, where she demonstrated a strong commitment to inclusive practices, collaboration with families and staff and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations to support student success.

Ms. Stanton is expected to begin her role with NSCSD on or about February 17, 2026, pending final onboarding and transition timelines.

In the interim, the Board of Education approved Rocco Nalli to serve as Interim Director of Pupil Personnel Services. Mr. Nalli recently conducted an independent audit of the district’s in-district special education programming and services and presented his findings and recommendations to the Board. He previously served as Director of Special Education in the Baldwinsville Central School District for more than 15 years.

Superintendent Dr. Terry Ward shared, “I’m confident Ms. Stanton will be a strong, steady leader for NSCSD. Her student-centered approach, commitment to collaboration and depth of experience will be a real asset to our staff and families.”

The district looks forward to welcoming Ms. Stanton and continuing to strengthen systems and supports for students across NSCSD.
