District seeking input as Code of Conduct is revised

The North Syracuse Central School District (NSCSD) is in the process of revising its Code of Conduct to strengthen its commitment to creating safe, supportive and equitable learning environments for all students. The update will clarify behavioral expectations, outline consistent disciplinary procedures and align district practices with current educational standards.

As part of this process, the district is inviting feedback from students, families, staff and community members. Input will be collected through a brief online survey and used to help shape a Code of Conduct that reflects shared community values and promotes student success.
“We want our Code of Conduct to be clear, fair and representative of the community we serve,” said Superintendent Dr. Terry L. Ward. “Hearing directly from our families and stakeholders is an essential part of that work.”
