Important message from Superintendent Ward
November 20, 2025: This morning, a sticker displaying imagery associated with a white supremacist group was found in a bathroom at Cicero-North Syracuse High School. The North Syracuse Central School District wants to be clear that no such club exists in our school, and the message displayed is completely inconsistent with the values of our district and community. This matter is currently under investigation. Any act that promotes hate, discrimination or intimidation toward any group of people is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
The district remains committed to providing a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for every student. We continue to work to ensure that all individuals feel supported and valued in our schools. Our commitment includes ongoing education, awareness efforts
and consistent enforcement of our district policies that protect the well-being of our entire school community.
We will continue to address this situation thoroughly and take appropriate action consistent with our policies and our commitment to equity and respect.
Respectfully,
Dr. Terry L. Ward, II
Superintendent of Schools
