Save the Date for Paige's Pajamarama 2025: November 21

October 2025: Students and staff across the North Syracuse Central School District will once again be getting cozy for a cause on Friday, November 21, 2025, as schools take part in Paige’s Pajamarama.

Paige’s Pajamarama is a fun and meaningful event where students and staff are invited to wear their pajamas to school in exchange for a donation to Paige’s Butterfly Run, Inc. The organization supports children with pediatric cancer and their families at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital through Paige’s Childhood Cancer Fund (CCF).

Since 2019, the NSCSD has proudly participated in Paige’s Pajamarama, a day dedicated to raising awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research and patient support. By wearing pajamas, students honor the children who spend their days in pajamas while undergoing treatment, helping to spread compassion and hope throughout our community.

This year’s event is being led by the Cicero–North Syracuse High School Student Government, with senior Meghan Cannella coordinating efforts districtwide. Meghan recently reached out to share her hopes of expanding participation across all schools and staff members: 

“Every year, we try to make this event bigger than the previous year,” Meghan said. “It’s inspiring to see how much our community comes together to support such an important cause.”

Last year, collectively between 11 school districts and several community organizations, participants raised more than $51,000 for Paige’s Butterfly Run, Inc. as part of a fun and friendly “battle” between local school districts.

At this time, no formal district alliances have been established for 2025, but Paige’s Butterfly Run organizers are working on developing those connections for the future.

All schools within the North Syracuse Central School District will participate in Paige’s Pajamarama on Friday, November 21, 2025. Students and staff are encouraged to wear their pajamas that day and make a donation either at school or online, to support the cause.
