2025 End of the school year schedule

UPDATED Friday, June 20: Due to unused snow days and the heat advisory, the 2025 end of the school year schedule has been readjusted. 
Due to the forecasted heat wave (heat indexes expected to approach or exceed 100 degrees), on Monday, June 23, and Tuesday, June 24 and given that Allen Road Elementary, Cicero Elementary and Gillette Road Middle School do not yet have complete systems with cooling capabilities, the following early dismissals will take place on Monday (6/23) and Tuesday (6/24):

**Gillette Road Middle School – Monday dismissal at 12:45 PM (Lunch Served)
Gillette Road Middle School – Tuesday dismissal at 11:30 AM (No Lunch Served)

Cicero Elementary – Monday dismissal at 12:00 PM (Brunch Served)
Cicero Elementary – Tuesday dismissal at 12:15 PM (Brunch Served)

Allen Road Elementary – Dismissal at 12:00 PM (Brunch Served)
Allen Road Elementary – Dismissal at 12:15 PM (Brunch Served)

**Please note in order to meet New York State regulations and district-wide transportation needs, GRMS students need to be dismissed at 12:45 PM on Monday.

We understand how important a safe and comfortable learning environment is for our students. Plans are already in place to upgrade the HVAC systems at Cicero Elementary and Gillette Road Middle School to include air conditioning in the near future. Allen Road Elementary plans are in the preliminary stages.

Students attending our other school buildings—KWS Bear Road, Lakeshore Road Elementary (St. Margaret’s), Roxboro Road Elementary, Smith Road Elementary, Roxboro Road Middle School and the NS Early Education Program—will follow a regular school schedule on both Monday and Tuesday, as those buildings are air-conditioned.

As a reminder, all schools are already scheduled for early dismissals on Wednesday (6/25) and Thursday (6/26):

Wednesday, June 25:

• All elementary schools: Dismissal at 12:00 PM
• Roxboro Road and Gillette Road Middle Schools: Dismissal at 10:30 AM
• NSEEP: morning session students will attend from 8:30 to 11 AM and full day students will attend from 9 to 11:30 AM

Thursday, June 26:

• All elementary schools: Dismissal at 10:30 AM
• Roxboro Road and Gillette Road Middle Schools: Dismissal at 9:30 AM
• NSEEP: Afternoon session students will attend from 8:30 to 11 AM and full day students will attend from 9 to 11:30 AM

Regarding UPK and afterschool programs: UPK and afterschool program providers have communicated directly with their families impacted by updated dismissal times. If your NSCSD child is attends a UPK/afterschool program, please reach out to the program director.
