Royalty for a day

Elementary students across the North Syracuse Central School District were treated like royalty for a day. It was part of their Kings and Queens Amplify Core Knowledge Language Arts (Amplify CKLA) activity culminating celebration. Students and teachers alike donned their crowns and other royal attire and took part in various activities.

Among the many spectacular events, KWS Bear Road Elementary started a Royal Tea Party with a parade around the school. The tea party included a royal feast with cookies and juice. They even learned how to waltz. A quick quiz closed out the unit.

Some students at Smith Road Elementary were excited to show off their royal outfits. Some wore gowns and some proudly wore their traditional dress. Students and staff at Roxboro Road Elementary School wore fabulous smiles along with their royal attire and truly celebrated their reading success in the most fashionable way.

It was a fun and exciting day for all!
