CNS High School Athletes Spend Time at Smith Road Elementary

Some Cicero-North Syracuse High School athletes ‘teamed-up’ recently to teach younger students. They were invited to Smith Road Elementary School’s January Assembly to discuss respect and how it translates to team sports.  The eight student-athletes included a mix of football, basketball, and soccer players. They answered a number of questions like what respect means to them and how they respect their coaches and opponents.  The visit was part of the “Team Up 4 Community” initiative. It aims to build character among athletes through the promotion and collaboration of community service and social responsibility.  Following the Assembly, the students spent some time working with students in a few classrooms.  Cicero-North Syracuse High School athlete participants: Brooke Wright Maddy Howell Sydney Nesci Reese Congel Wyatt Dupell  Jaxon Razmovski Joe Main Anthony Johnson
