Kindergarten Registration Dates Continue Throughout March

The North Syracuse Central School District has announced its registration dates for 2022-2023 kindergarten students. In order for your child to enter school next fall, he or she must be five (5) years old on or before December 1, 2022. Elementary schools are holding registration at individual school buildings on the following dates by appointment.

Families of known new students will receive an appointment letter from their child’s home school in February. Families who will be registering a new kindergarten student and who have not received a letter by the 3rd week in February, should contact the school to schedule an appointment.

Kindergarten registration will take place by appointment at the following locations on the dates and times:

Smith Road Elementary (315) 218-2800	March 9, 2022	12 p.m. – 3 p.m. AND 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Any questions you may have regarding your child’s registration can be answered by calling your child’s home school.

The following items must be brought to registration: Parent identification, proof of birth, verification of your child’s immunization record,
proof of residency and custody papers, if applicable. Please note that the following documents are acceptable as proof of residency: mortgage
statement, lease agreement, purchase offer and/or utility bill. A driver’s license is NOT acceptable as proof of residency.

You must attend the registration session at your child’s home school. If you miss the above registration sessions and need to register your child for kindergarten, please register at the North Syracuse Central School District Office, 5355 West Taft Road, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
