Grab and Go Meal Program Ends for School Year on June 25
Throughout the school building closure, the North Syracuse Central School District has been providing grab and go breakfast and lunch meals. The grab and go meal program will end for the 2019-2020 school year on Thursday, June 25.
The program runs Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the locations listed below. Families can take up to two meals at a time per student. Families are asked to please bring a reusable bag if they will be taking multiple meals.
The District's Summer Feeding Program at Roxboro Road Middle School will begin on Monday, July 6.
Consistent with efforts throughout the county and state, we are asking participants to remember to use proper social distancing by taking staying 6 feet away from others participating in the program. Particpants will be asked to stand back from the serving table until the food has been placed on the table and the server has had time to back away 6 feet. Additionally, cones, a chalk line, tape or other barrier may be used to keep participants at a safe distance, forcing a well-spaced queue to form.
Thank you for helping us keep our participants safe and healthy!
