March 10 Community Information Session Will Highlight District’s Focus on Social-Emotional Learning and Mental Wellness

The North Syracuse Central School District will hold a community information session on, Tuesday, March 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the Jerome F. Melvin Administrative Office Building (5355 West Taft Road) in North Syracuse.

Superintendent of Schools Dan Bowles invites parents and community members to attend the session to learn more about the District’s focus on Social-Emotional Learning and mental wellness.

“When the North Syracuse Central School District began Vision 2020 several years ago, we made Social-Emotional Learning one of our eight focus areas,” said Superintendent Bowles. “We have seen tremendous steps taken toward fostering self- and social-awareness, creating positive learning environments and cultivating relationships. We plan to look at our progress, celebrate the successes and explore ways to improve.”

For additional information about the public information session, contact the North Syracuse Central School District Superintendent’s Office at 315/218-2150.
