C-NS Science Olympiad Teams Qualify for State Competition

On Saturday, January 25, the Cicero-North Syracuse High School Science Olympiad teams competed in the Regional Science Olympiad Competition held at Le Moyne College. Out of a total of thirty-six teams competing, the C-NS Team Green finished third and Team Blue finished sixteenth.

The teams competed in 26 events which covered topics related to Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Technology. The teams medaled in 22 of the 26 events.

Following is a list of those events, along with the student participants:

Based on the team’s performance at the Regional competition they earned the opportunity to compete in the State level competition, which will be held on March 13th and 14th at LeMoyne College. Good luck.
