District Voters Approve Dual Propositions for Capital Project Referendum

North Syracuse Central School District voters were asked to approve two propositions for the district’s proposed capital project referendum: one for renovations at KWS Bear Road Elementary School and  one for the purchase of land adjacent to Cicero-North Syracuse High School. Both propositions were approved.
More than 600 votes were cast, with the final tally being 418 yes votes/184 no votes on the Bear Road Elementary School proposition and 454 yes votes/146 no votes on the land purchase.

Superintendent of Schools, Daniel Bowles said, “Many thanks to all of our community members who came out to vote. We are excited to be able to finally move forward with the much needed renovations at KWS Bear Road Elementary School. As a plan develops, we will be communicating information to the school and community.”
