C-NS DECA Competes at States

Cicero-North Syracuse High School DECA sent 18 business students to the competition and took home seven top ten medals.  In addition, five C-NS students were inducted into the New York DECA Honor Society based on their accomplishments in the classroom and in DECA and the C-NS DECA Chapter was recognized for its participation in the Community Service Project benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association.

The majority of the students’ events consist of a 100-question marketing/management test, followed by two role-plays with members from the business community that challenge the students ability to problem-solve.  There were approximately 60 DECA members in each event.
