Board of Education seeking Community Interview Team Members for Superintendent Search

The North Syracuse Central School District Board of Education has hired Dr. William Silky, Castallo & Silky, LLC, to conduct the Superintendent Search to replace retiring superintendent Annette Speach. As part of the search process, the Board is putting together separate interview teams of employees, students and community members.

The Board of Education is in the process of developing employee and student interview teams and is seeking residents to serve on the community interview team. The community interview team will be comprised of no more than 15 community members. The criteria for serving on this committee would be:

  • A resident of the District (not a district employee or a current student – there are separate interview teams for employees and students)
  • MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL FOUR OF THESE DATES AND MEETING TIMES:
    • February 6, 2019 – 5 p.m.  -6:30 p.m.
    • March 7, 11, and 13, 2019 – late afternoon/early evening

If you are interested in being considered to be a member of the community interview team, and meet all the above listed criteria, please e-mail Connie Gibson, District Clerk at cgibson@nscsd.org with your name, address, phone number, e-mail address and a brief statement as to why you would like to serve on this committee. Email applications must be received by 12 noon on Friday, December 14, 2018.  The Board will review all e-mails and select approximately 15 individuals to serve on the committee.

All potential committee members will receive an email reply as to whether or not they have been selected to serve on this committee.
