C-NS Students nominated for eleven Syracuse High School Theater Awards!
The Cicero-North Syracuse High School Production of ‘Oklahoma’ was nominated for a record 11 theater awards by the Syracuse High School Theater Awards committee. Representatives from the committee visit area high schools to adjudicate their performances and select nominees for the various categories. C-NS was nominated in 11 of the 15 categories, including:Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Lead Role: Noah Barnell
Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Lead Role: Hannah Williams
Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role: Toby Martin
Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role: Alexis Martin
Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical, Large School
Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble/Chorus
Outstanding Performance by a Student Orchestra: under the direction of Mark Adamski
Outstanding Direction: Kimberly Panek-Edwards
Outstanding Music Direction: Caryn Patterson
Outstanding Choreography Execution: under the direction of Lisa Stuart
Rising Star Male: Joshua Merchant
The awards ceremony will be taking place on June 3rd at the Landmark Theater.
