Join us for in-person Kindergarten Registration!
The North Syracuse Central School District is preparing to welcome its newest students and has announced kindergarten registration events for families with children entering school this fall.
Families with children born on or before Dec. 1, 2021 are invited to attend in-person kindergarten registration events scheduled in April. The events provide an opportunity for families to meet school staff, learn about their child’s school and complete the registration process.
Families are encouraged to complete the district’s online preregistration form in advance by visiting:

Completing the preregistration form ahead of time helps streamline the process. During the in-person registration events, district staff will be available to answer questions and scan required documents to finalize registration.
In-person registration will be at the Jerome F. Melvin Administrative Office Building (5355 West Taft Rd., North Syracuse) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. on the following dates:

April 8Cicero Elementary Lakeshore Road Elementary |
April 9KWS Bear Road Elementary Smith Road Elementary |
- Parent/Guardian photo identification
- Child's birth certificate
- Proof of residence (recent utility bill, mortgage statement, lease/rental agreement, notarized statement from landowner)
- Most recent physical and immunization record
- Custody papers if applicable
Families who are unable to attend their designated in-person registration date can still complete the process online by visiting: https://cnyric02.schooltool.com/cns/onlinepreregistration/. All required documents must be submitted via email to Registrar@nscsd.org to finalize the registration.
