The Northstars defeated Oswego on Wednesday 13-0 and moved to 12-5 on the season. Logan Persse earned the win. The Northstars tallied 17 hits on the afternoon with Connor Stanton and Tristen Cummings earning 3 hits each. The Northstars return to the diamond on Friday at 7:00 pm in a non league match up with Cortland. Thursday's rain out with Syracuse is re-scheduled for Saturday at 11:00 am at Van Dyne.
Thank you all the players, coaches and parents who helped make the 2017 Hitting Derby on Thursday night a HUGE success. It was a fun night for all!!!
The Northstars Baseball Booster Club's May meeting minutes are posted on the booster club link below. Anyone interested in helping out or volunteering with the booster club from any level please contact Kimber Cummings. There is no scheduled booster club meeting for June. Instead, the Hitting Derby committee, Golf committee and End of the year celebration committee will be meeting on their own to organize those events.
2017 Wall of Fame inductees have been announced. Thank you to everyone who sent in a nomination form. Congrats to Doug Squire (02') Frank Guisti (64') and Kyano Cummings (12') for their 2017 entry in the Northstars Baseball Wall of Fame.
Summer Baseball schedules for the J.V. & Varsity school week day summer league are posted under the Summer Baseball link. If you earn a spot on one of the school teams, you have been contacted about playing summer baseball and the registration fee is due to secure your spot on the summer roster. Contact Tony Alberici (Varsity), Pat Stuart (JV) or Mike Kasch (Modified) if you have questions about a specific team.
