The North Syracuse Central School District is committed to maintaining of facilities to provide safe and effective environments for our students, staff and community members. Therefore, periodically the district embarks on voter approved capital projects to ensure that we fulfil our commitment. Facilities Planning

December 2022 Capital Project: Capital Project Approved by voters 

Total Cost: $61,200,000 (Less than 1/2 percent tax impact)
Capital Project Vote: Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. 
Proposed Proposition Scope:

  • Safety and Security enhancements throughout the District ($32,000,000)

  • Gillette Road Middle School air conditioning and ventilation system repairs / North Syracuse Early Education Program roof replacement and water main replacement ($21,200,000)

  • Gillette Road Middle School multipurpose turf field along with walking trail and parking lot reconstruction ($8,000,000)
