District Sets Dates for Kindergarten Registration for the 2018-2019 School Year District Sets Dates for Kindergarten Registration for the 2018-2019 School Year: The North Syracuse Central School District has announced its registration dates for 2018-2019 kindergarten students. Home schools will mail appointment letters to families that will be registering known new students. North Syracuse Junior High student leads district-wide blanket drive North Syracuse Junior High student leads district-wide blanket drive: For the past several years, DJ Villnave, now a high school freshman at North Syracuse Junior High School, has spearheaded a community blanket drive to help people in need. This year, DJ has the support of all schools in the district and several community groups. Blankets can be dropped off at any school in the district and several other locations through the end of January. Roxboro Road Elementary Soup-er Bowl of Caring Roxboro Road Elementary Soup-er Bowl of Caring: As a PBIS School, Roxboro Road Elementary participated in this year’s Salvation Army Food Drive.  We were able to fill more than 3 barrels with canned and other non-perishable food items.  This year we kicked of “Soup-er Bowl” with a friendly competition between the three classroom hallways. Trustworthy Trail was the winning hallway this year, earning the 1 st annual “Soup-er Bowl Trophy”, by filling almost 2 barrels with food!  ... more >>
