American Rescue Plan Funding

The North Syracuse Central School District has been the recipient of Federal and State Education Stabilization Funds. The New York State Education Department uses the process of Coordinated Monitoring to review local educational agencies (LEAs) for compliance with programmatic and fiscal requirements under the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER I) Fund, the Governor's Emergency Education Relief (GEER I) Fund, the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (ERRSA/ESSER II/GEER II) Act and the American Rescue Plan (APR).

2021:
On September 13, the North Syracuse Central School District presented an initial spending plan for American Rescue (ARP) Funding to its Board of Education.
The purpose of ARP funding is to address the urgent needs of children caused by the COVID pandemic. Details of the NSCSD Plan are outlined in the presentation, which is available by clicking here.
