ABOUT

Welcome to Registration!  This is the first step in enrolling your child into school. Students must be registered by their parent or legal guardian.  Both the child and their parent/legal guardian must physically reside within the North Syracuse Central School District boundaries. Proof of residency will be required.

Children are eligible for kindergarten if they turn five on/before December 1 of the school year.
 


Attention families registering children for Lakeshore Road Elementary School:
For the 2025-25 school year, Lakeshore Road Elementary (LRE) students will again be relocated due to the ongoing building renovation taking place.  All LRE students will remain with their LRE student cohorts and be instructed by LRE staff.  Relocation locations are listed below. If you have any questions, please reach out to Tina Chmielewski, principal of Lakeshore Road Elementary School 315-218-2600.
 
Relocation locations for the 2025-26 school year:
Kindergarten students will attend Cicero Elementary School (5979 Route 31  Cicero, NY)
Grades 1-3 will attend St. Margaret’s school (203 Roxboro Road  Mattydale, NY)
Grade 4 will attend Gillette Road Middle School (6150 South Bay Road  Cicero, NY)
Transportation will be provided to all sites
 

To Register your child by MAIL:
  • Download & Print and fill in the registration packet with this link
  • Make COPIES of:
    • Parent/Guardian ID
    • Proof of residence (utility bill, mortgage statement, lease/rent agreement, notarized statement from landowner)
    • Child’s birth certificate
  • MAIL ALL OF THE ABOVE to the district office*Do not send original documents*

Important information regarding Online Registration
Online registrations are retained for 30 days. Be sure to regularly check the email address you used during registration for any communications from the registrar. If your registration is incomplete, you will be notified by email. Incomplete registrations that are not completed within 30 days will be deleted. If your registration is deleted, you may resubmit it by registering again as a new user.
