President Biden was in town as part of New York State Governor and Micron’s history community investment announcement.

Maxx and Logan are involved with STEM activities at their respective schools and were asked to the event because of their interest in the field. The students took part in Micron’s Chip Camp, a learning opportunity designed to have students experience what engineers and scientists in a semiconductor company do every day. Additionally, they were able to attend the official announcement and listen to the President’s remarks.

Maxx attended the event with his mother and father, Lori and Leslie Jewson and Logan attended with his father, David Christopher. Both dads assisted with the Chip Camp activity and both families had the chance to tour the Micron pavilion. Click here to read more about the event.
