C-NS Vocal Jazz Ensemble Gives Holiday Performance

During the holidays, The Cicero-North Syracuse High School Vocal Jazz ensemble performed at The Fireside Inn for “Making Spirits Bright” to benefit the Rescue Mission of CNY and the Salvation Army. This is the second year the Vocal Jazz has been asked to participate.

The fundraiser started as an idea that musician Letizia Pinkel had to bring musicians and community members together for a good cause. The Christmas party featured many of Central New York’s most notable musicians and all of the proceeds went to The Rescue Mission just in time for the Holidays.
The event was free but all those attending were asked to bring a donation of comfort and joy. Some items that the Rescue Mission collected were mittens, hats, socks and blankets. The Vocal Jazz had a wonderful time performing and were grateful to have been a part of such a special event.

Members of the Vocal Jazz are: Bowie Aldrich, Addison Romano, Isabella Borte, Kathryn Wilhite, Hunter Kot, Jackson Gwynn, Jacob Seitz, Samuel Cusimano, Abigail Calabria, Ava Tyler, Genevieve Costigan, Lillian Thorne, Benjamin Janack, John Lisi, Liam Williams, Michael Mousaw and Ryan Hill. The vocalists were accompanied by Shea Mastracco.
