Community invited to "Managing Screen Time - Protecting Kids in the Digital World" presentation

The North Syracuse and Liverpool Central School Districts are pleased to offer a special presentation: Managing Screen Time – Protecting Kids in the Digital World on Thursday, March 28. The presentation, which is free and open to the public, will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at North Syracuse Junior High School (5353 West Taft Rd) in North Syracuse. Limited childcare will be available.

Through the presentation, parents will learn why and how to balance digital life for themselves and their children and how to put protections on their child(ren)’s digital world. The evening will include a panel discussion with representatives from the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office, McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center and various medical, mental health, law enforcement and school counseling professionals. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.

Families are also asked to save the date (April 4) for a special video presentation of Screenagers at Cicero-North Syracuse High School. Additional information will be announced as details are available.
