Report cards and progress reports available through schooltool

The North Syracuse Central School District is pleased to announce that for the 2017-2018 school year, student report cards and progress reports will be available online for all students. Paper report cards/progress reports will no longer be sent home. Paper copies can be requested through your child[ren]’s school principal if necessary.

Superintendent of Schools Annette Speach spoke about the change saying, “Part of our district and community’s shared Vision for education is ensuring that families have the information they need to understand and support student progress and growth. We are working toward this Vision by providing on line access to report cards and progress reports. Additionally, this change allows for a significant savings of taxpayer dollars by eliminating the costs associated with the printing and mailing of paper reports.”

North Syracuse Central School District families can access schooltool online at https://cns.schooltool.cnyric.org/SchoolToolWeb/.

Parents who have provided the district with an email address will be sent a password allowing them to set up a portal account and securely view their student’s information. If you have not already received a password or need to have one reset, please contact the building secretary at your child(ren)’s school. Additional helpful information about schooltool can be found online here.

Please note, the district has been sending email and text messages about parent portal access. If you have not received messages, please log into InfoCenter to check your settings. Find out more about North Syracuse Central School District's SchoolMessenger alerts here
