We send final transcripts to the college of choice graduating seniors list on their Senior Data Sheet, which is completed in May-June of senior year. If a graduate decides to change plans after that sheet is submitted, he or she must contact the Registrar to be sure we have the correct information.

Transcripts are sent out within 7-10 days after the date of graduation. Several pieces of data must be entered for each graduate in order to generate transcripts for the graduating class. Many transcripts are sent out electronically during the week folowing graduation, but others have to be sent via postal mail. Please keep in mind that most colleges use a centralized mail drop meaning that mail goes to a central location and is then distributed to various offices. This adds time to the process so do not assume that the proper office will receive your transcript within 1-2 days of it being sent.

Some colleges will send out notices to students about not having their final transcripts before you've even graduated. If you receive notification from your college that your transcript has not been received, please feel free to contact the Registrar at 315.218.4003 to be sure it was sent and when.

You should obtain any transcripts you need from your guidance counselor. You may obtain transcripts from the Registrar for college visits during the summer.

Students may register with the NCAA before they complete 11th grade, but the NCAA will not review your high school transcript until you have completed six (6) semesters of high school, which occurs when you complete 11th grade. They want to see a transcript with final grades for your courses through 11th grade that includes a list of your 12th grade classes. We send these transcripts out in the fall of your senior year.

If you attended more than one high school, the NCAA needs an official transcript from each high school you attended. They will not accept grades from one high school that are transcribed onto another high school's transcript.

Once you graduate, a final transcript is submitted to the NCAA in late June/early July.

If you obtained your high school diploma through this program, possibly offered through an employer or BOCES, you may have received a diploma from our high school. These records are maintained at the Cicero-North Syracuse High School building and may be requested using the procedure above.
