The 8/9 Boys Basketball – Team White -improved their record to 7-2 last night ,with a 8 point victory over the Hornets of Fayetteville Manlius.  Their last game is this Friday against Jamesville Dewitt- Tip off is at 4.30- hope to see you there!!!

The 8/9 Boys Basketball Blue team had a good win over the much larger Henninger Black Knights on Tuesday.  The Northstars opened up with an 11-0 lead and never looked back.  That win brings their record to 5-2.  Their next game is against Liverpool on Friday at 4:00 at the Liverpool annex.




The 8/9 Team Blue had a hard fought game against Cortland on Friday.  After struggling in the first half the Northstars came out in the second half playing tough defense and pulled out the win 53-31.  Their next game is Tuesday, home at 4:30 against Henniger.

The Boys 8/9 Basketball – Team White- raised their record  to 6-2 with a victory over Rome last night 43-40. Their last home game is next Friday against Jamesville Dewitt- tip off is at 4.30- hope to see you there!

The 8/9 team Blue had a good win against Rome 65-48.  Team Blue played tough defense making it hard for Rome to get the ball up the court.  The Northstars were led by Tim Schinto with 15 points and Justin DelVeccio with 11.


The Boys 8/9 Basketball –Team White – had a very exciting overtime win versus Liverpool last night- 57-55. The game went back and forth through all 5 quarters, and needed an extra 4 minutes to decide the outcome.
Team White went up by 2 points with 23 seconds to play and Liverpool decided to go for the tie- but Chris Kowalewski made an unbelievable block with 1.7 seconds left to seal the victory! Great game played by all 13 players!

The Blue 8/9 Boys Basketball team suffered a tough loss on Friday against CBA 64-49.  The Northstars played a good game but couldn’t overcome the superior size of the CBA team.  Justin DelVecchio led the team with 11 points.

The Boys 8/9 Basketball –Team White- lost a tough hard fought battle last night  against a very good Westhill team- 50-49. The Warriors made 2 technical free throws with 7.2 seconds to put them ahead for good- Great effort by everyone- Their next home game is Monday against Liverpool -4.30 tip-Hope to see you there.

The Blue 8/9 Basketball team fell short Tuesday night against Westhill.  Although the Blue Team played an overall good game, tough defense from Westhill and untimely turnovers took a 2 point deficit to a 9 point deficit that the Northstars could not overcome.  Their record is now 2-1.  Their next game is Friday at CBA at 4:00.


The 8/9 Boys Basketball Team- Team White- improved their record to 4-1 with a 71-23 victory over Cortland last night- A great game by all 13 players!

Their next game is Thursday against the always tough Westhill Warriors  – good luck guys!

The 8/9 Blue team defeated Nottingham 62-54 last week to improve to 2-0.  Good luck vs. Westhill on Dec. 2!

The 8/9 Boys Basketball team- Team White- improved their record to 3-1 last night with a victory over the Oswego Buccaneers- 61-32. Their full court pressure and tough half court man to man defense slowed down Oswego’s offense all night. Great game played by all 13 players. Their next home game is Dec. 1st  at 4.30 versus Cortland- good luck guys.


The 9th Grade Boys Basketball- Team White- suffered their first loss of the season last night to the Brothers of CBA- 71-60. The Northstars fought back in the 3rd quarter to bring it within in 2 points but couldn’t come all the way back- They travel to Oswego on Monday the 24th- Good Luck guys!

The Boys Freshman Basketball –Team White- played the Black Knights of Henninger last night. Henninger opened up with a 12-2 lead early in the first quarter, and Team White fought back by half time and cut the lead down to only 3 points.- In the start of the second half, with full court pressure , and tight man to man half-court defense- The Northstars went on a 20-0 run- to open their own lead up . They never relinquished the lead after that, and went on to win 71-44. Outstanding game played by all 14 players!


The 8/9 Blue team had a great win yesterday over a tough Jamesville Dewitt team.  After being down at the end of the first half the Northstars played great defense in the second half led by Erik Pride, Tim Schinto, and Nate Geloff.  Their next game is Friday at home at 5:00 against Oswego.

The 8th/9th Grade Boys basketball Team White beat Nottingham Friday night in a battle that went down to the last 2 minutes.
Team White stuck to their tough man to man defense and  full court pressure, and  pulled it out in the end, to win 60-50! GREAT game played by all 13 players!
