Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope that the month of November finds you happy and in good health. With the close of the first marking period quickly approaching, it is a great time to reflect on the past 10 weeks with your child. Report Cards will be going home on November 14th.
Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on November 18th and 20th. Conference schedules will be developed by individual classroom teachers and please make every effort to attend this important meeting. Conferences are an excellent time to open the dialogue regarding school achievement and success as well as discuss any areas of “concern” and set new goals.
Now that we are well into the school year, it is a great time to discuss bus expectations/rules with your child. Please remind your child of the following rules/expectations: Remain seated at all times, no yelling, keep your hands to yourself, follow the directions of the bus driver, no food allowed, and notify the driver of any problems.
If your child is absent from school, you will receive an automated phone call from our health office. This is new automated system was introduced in September to create a more efficient process for student attendance. In order for the system to run smoothly, it is imperative that we have your updated contact information. If any of your phone numbers or addresses have changed, please be sure to inform the Main Office.
I wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving recess and as always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call the main office at 218-2800.
