THE COLOSSAL COUPON COLLECTION
At Roxboro Road Middle School
The Red, White, and Blue Crew at Roxboro Road Middle School is sponsoring The Colossal Coupon Collection from May 6 to May 24, 2013. All current manufacturers’ coupons are happily accepted, as many military families experience difficult financial situations when one parent is deployed. These coupons can provide extra help without embarrassment to anyone as many people use coupons.
Please bring your coupons to the GUIDANCE OFFICE before homeroom and put them in the designated box anytime between May 6 and May 24. Be sure to have your coupons in a sealed envelope with your name and homeroom number on the envelope. The student who brings in the most grocery coupons will receive a $25.00 gift certificate to Regal Cinemas.
There are numerous places to find grocery coupons. They are in your Sunday paper, magazines, and are available online. Unexpired coupons can be used by military families both in the United States and overseas. Additionally, expired coupons are accepted by overseas military commissaries for up to six months past their printed date. However, please note not to send coupons to school more than two weeks expired. This will allow time for the coupons to be sent to the Veterans’ collection program in Ohio, then sent overseas, and still be of use to families.
Thank you for supporting our military families and Veterans!

MORNING DROP OFF PROCEDURE
In an effort to keep our students safe as they are dropped off in the morning, an area has been striped in the upper lot for parents to safely drop off students to walk to the crosswalk and to the school. Please pull ahead to drop your child off.
The security guard will be assisting with the drop off in the upper lot.
PARKING LOT SAFETY CONCERN FOR WALKERS
Parents of walkers, please instruct your child to NOT walk or cut through the parking lots, but to use the sidewalks when walking to and from school.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school safe!
Any questions or concerns, please contact David Shaw, Principal, at 218-3302.
