As part of its search for a new superintendent of schools, the North Syracuse Central School District Board of Education has been seeking the community’s input regarding the strengths and challenges facing our schools and the qualities and characteristics desired in the school district's next leader. A brief (four question) survey was created in order to gather that input. Anyone interested in providing input is asked to complete the survey by March 31, 2011.
A link to the online survey can be found on the District’s homepage at www.nscsd.org. For those who do not wish to complete the questionnaire online, paper copies are available in the office of each building throughout the District and at the Salina Free and Northern Onondaga (Cicero and North Syracuse) Public Libraries.
Regarding the survey, North Syracuse Central School District Board of Education President Pat Carbone said, “The Board of Education is incredibly proud of our schools, students and staff and is looking for a superintendent who will share this pride and help us continue to maintain and improve our programs as we contend with current fiscal pressures. We are interested in hearing from the community as to what characteristics they believe our new district leader should possess and what they feel are the districts’ strengths and challenges.”
