February Events
The ADHD Parent/Staff February Workshop will be held Wednesday, February 15 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at Cicero Elementary School. Topic of discussion will be Dietary Strategies. There will also be time for sharing concerns and discussing strategies that have worked for other parents and teachers. The workshop is free and open to all. No registration necessary for parents and other visitors. NSCSD staff can register on MLP. Sorry, but childcare is not available.

FAMILY CENSUS REMINDER
2011-2012
ALERT TO RESIDENTS OF THE NORTH SYRACUSE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT:
January through March are School Census months. Your help is requested in counting all children (especially birth through middle school age) in your family. Counts for students attending the junior and senior high school will be estimated in another way, but please include them anyway. We, therefore, ask for your cooperation in providing us with the most current information.
Census data is confidential and is used only for planning purposes to verify student enrollment, to develop staffing and facilities, and to budget for the future financial needs of the school district.
If you have children attending a school in the district, you will receive a cover letter from the Superintendent with a Census Form (on reverse side) sent home with one of your children. (If you have several children, you may receive one for each child. However, you need only complete and return ONE form.)
Residents are asked to complete the form and send it to their home school with their child as soon as possible prior to the end of the month.
In the case where forms were lost, another form (without label) may be obtained and returned the same way. Other ways of completing the school census would be to return the form to your home school in person, by mail, or send it to school with any one of your children.
As there have been concerns about facilities in the past, the most current data available is needed for our planning. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
