Built in 1955, with several additions and renovations done over the last 50 years, North Syracuse Junior High originally served as North Syracuse High School, one of two high schools in the North Syracuse School District. In 1983, North Syracuse High School and Cicero High School merged to form Cicero North Syracuse High School. As a result, the former North Syracuse High School became what is now known as North Syracuse Junior High.
Serving approximately 1600 students in grades eight and nine, the staff of North Syracuse Junior High School is proud of our school and works to provide our students with the greatest opportunities for success. Students are assisted and served with their individual educational needs in mind. It is our hope that the junior high years provide every student with many positive learning experiences, as well as some happy, lasting memories. Our goal is to give each student the best possible education to prepare for whatever choices are made in life. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to meet and talk with our staff as we’d like you to think of the junior high as your school.
We look forward to an exciting and rewarding school year with you and your student.
