The North Syracuse Early Education Program was established by Dr. Warren Grund and a small staff in 1980. The program was initially housed in the Bessie Riordan School in Mattydale. Today we are located in the historic Main Street Elementary School building in the heart of the Village of North Syracuse. 

Over the years the program has grown to include 14 classrooms serving over 350 preschool children and their families.

Disabled and non-disabled preschool children work and play in an inclusive setting where special needs students receive therapy services by a multi-disciplinary team. All students benefit from the developmentally appropriate curriculum linked to the NYS standards provided by NYC certified teachers, teaching assistants, and therapists.
